PERÚ:

Location:Peru is located in the central and western part of South America. It limits by the north with Ecuador and Colombia, by the south with Chile, by the East with Brazil and Bolivia and, by the West with the Pacific Ocean. 

Capital: The city of Lima. 

Official Language: Spanish and Quechua. 

Currency: The Nuevo Sol but also US Dollars are accepted here. 

Religion: In the country, it is respected the freedom of cult and beliefs; nevertheless, the Catholic Religion has a privileged place within the country.

Relief:Peru presents a variety of formation that gives origin to a great number of natural regions: Coast, Mountain and Forest. Nevertheless, the main characteristic in the Peruvian relief is the AndesMountain. 

Weather: It is desert marine in the coast; cold in high plateaus and tropical in the forest. 

Hydrograph:Peru has 3 river basins: the Pacific Ocean in the West, the Atlantic or Amazon in the East and the TiticacaLake that includes territories of Peru and Bolivia. 

Agriculture:Peru has an industrial variety of foods and plants, for example: sugar cane, rice, cotton, corn, coffee, etc. 

Cattle ranch: The country has a productive cattle activity. There are small cattle zones in the Coast and Forest. In the Mountain, people breed ovine and goat cattle whereas in the Coast, bovine cattle. 

Logging: Approximately, there are 2500 lumber species in the country. 

Fishing: The Peruvian sea is extraordinarily rich in fishing. The most important ports in the Country are: Callao and Chimbote. 

Mining: The production is based in silver, lead, zinc, copper, bismuth and tungsten. 

Industry: The production of the country is based on the textiles, for example: cotton, tobacco, products (oil, fish flour, sugar) and the products of the mining.

Communications: The highway, with 4 main axes in the territory .The most important highway is the Panamericana Highway. The ports in the country, the most important one isthe Callao; the international and national airports, as the international airport Jorge Chavez in Lima and, the railway lines with its 2 types of services (the Central one and the South one). 

Gastronomy: The Peruvian food is very rich and varied. Among the main dishes, we have: anticuchos, causa, cebiche, chupe de camarones, papa a la huancaína, tamales, mazamorra morada, picarones and turrón de Doña Pepa. The national drink is the Pisco Sour. The other drinks that you should try are: algarrobina, chilcano, beer, chicha de jora and chichi morada
